Collaterals at the optic disc

This man was referred because of bilateral cataracts. Fundoscopy showed vascular loops in the left eye with vitreous condensation. There were some dot haemorrhages on the retina suggesting these loops were collaterals secondary to old central retinal vein occlusion.
