New vessels of the
disc

This 40 year-old diabetic
man has poorly controlled diabetic mellitus. Fundoscopy shows optic disc
vessels with haemorrhage. He has had previous laser pan-photocoagulation.
Further laser was applied and he is referred to the endocrinologist for
better diabetic control.
Left optic disc with flame-haemorrhage from
new vessels of the disc.
