Subhyaloid haemorrhage

This young woman of 25 complains of decreased right vision and an area of scotoma in her central vision. Fundoscopy reveals subhyaloid haemorrhage not covering the fovea. She is otherwise in good health. The appearance suggests that this may be a Valsalva retinopathy as a result of straining. The haemorrhage resolves spontaneously.
