Congenital
nasolacrimal duct blockage

This 4 year-old boy had
had recurrent left conjunctivitis and epiphora. Syringing under general
anaesthesia revealed blockage of the left nasolacrimal duct. Probing was
performed and the symptoms and signs of nasolacrimal duct blockage
disappeared at the subsequent visit.
