Congenital esotropia

This 5 year-old girl has
had bilateral medial recti recession for congenital esotropia. The left eye
shows minimal esotropia. The vision is normal in both eyes. However, the
adducting shows upshooting when the eyes look to either side. The problem
can be corrected by bilateral inferior oblique myectomy.
Small residual left esotropia.
Overshooting of the adducting eye
on looking to either direction.
