Ocular massage for
flat bleb

This 70 year-old underwent
combined trabeculectomy and phacoemulsification and implant (corneal
incision) one week ago. The bleb appeared flat and the intraocular pressure
measured 20mm Hg. Following massage, a bleb is formed and the pressure
dropped to 11mm Hg. The intraocular pressure remained controlled
(15mmHg) at 3 weeks with bleb formation.
