Conjunctival flap for
corneal perforation

A 45 year-old man
developed a left fungal keratitis. Although the infection was controlled
with regular topical natamycin, the cornea perforated. A conjunctival flap
was used to covered the perforation as corneal graft was thought to have a
low success rate in restoring vision. (Note: These pictures were taken with
Canon digital camera before the anterior segment camera became available in
the department.)
