Filamentary keratitis

A 55 year-old woman with chronic dry eyes complained of increased irritation in the right eye. Examination revealed filamentary keratitis. She was asked to increase the frequency of her artificial tear and topical steroid was also given (G. betamethasone b.d.). The keratitis improved after two weeks.
