Iridodialysis

A young man sustained a right blunt ocular injury while at work. At the initial presentation, he was noted to have hyphaema and was treated with cycloplegic eyedrop and topical steroid. When the hyphaema cleared, a temporal iridodialysis became apparent. Gonioscopy showed angle recession of more than 180 degrees but the intraocular pressure was normal at the last visit. He was advised to attend the clinic at yearly interval in case he developed raised intraocular pressure.
