Vitreous prolapse

This 62 year-old man
underwent an extracapsular cataract extraction and implant 4 months ago. The
operation was complicated by posterior capsule rupture. The implant was
implanted at the sulcus. Post-operatively, the vision was poor at CF.
Examination showed vitreous prolapse into the anterior chamber with inferior
displacement of the intraocular lens. He underwent anterior vitrectomy with
repositioning of the intraocular lens.
