Fungal corneal ulcer

This 60 year-old man from
a remote village develops a right corneal ulcer. The clinical appearance is
suggestive of a fungal corneal ulcer. The cornea shows deep stromal
infiltrations with satellite lesions and dense hypopyon. He is given topical
natamycin and oral fluconazole. The first scrapping of the ulcer shows no
growth and the result of a repeated scrapping is pending.
