Corneal perforation
with iris prolapse

This 65 year-old man
presented with a sudden worsening of his right vision. The vision was light
perception in the right eye and hand movement in the left eye. Examination
revealed right corneal perforation with iris prolapse and the left eye had
dense corneal opacity with cataract. The causes of the perforation and
opacity were unknown. B-scan of the right globe showed the retina was flat.
He was given topical antibiotics and a right tectonic graft was planned.
Unfortunately, his chest X-ray revealed active TB changes and the operation
was postponed.
