Corneal scar with new vessels

This patient right cornea was cut by glass fragments from the car windscreen two years ago. After a long period of absence she returned with foreign body sensation, examination revealed loose stitches and leucoma with new vessels. The leucoma was the result of scarring and lipid from the new vessels. The loose stitches were removed and the patient started on topical antibiotic and steroid.
