Asian blepharoplasty

This young woman has absent skin creases of the upper eyelid and requested for creation of upper eyelid skin creases to make her eyes more animated. An incision approach was performed and the skin creases were set at 7mm (which is the height of her tarsal plates). To avoid drastically changing her facial appearance, the epicanthal folds were not removed.

 

Bilateral absent skin creases   2 weeks after the creation of upper eyelid skin creases. Chloramphenicol and hydrocorisone cream were applied to her upper eyelid to reduce post-operative swelling.
