Frontalis suspension

This 11 year-old presented to our clinic with
a right congenital ptosis. The levator function was less than 4mm. Frontalis
suspension was performed using 2/0 prolene. Post-operatively, the eye had
problem closing at the beginning which improved over the next 10 days. The
eye was given chloramphenicol ointment at night and she wore sunglasses in
sleep to prevent exposure keratitis.
