Dermatochalasis

This 78 year-old man presented with reduced
visual fields and problems with reading because of bilateral dermatochalasis.
Bilateral upper blepharoplasty were performed. His only complaint was that
his neighbours could not recognise him unless he open his mouth. The eyes
are the most recognised parts of a person's face and any changes in shape
can have a profound effect on the whole facial appearance.
