Frontal mucocele

This 60-year-old woman
presented with a two-year history of progressive left painless proptosis and
hypotropia. CT scan revealed a left frontal mucocele that had expanded into
the superior orbit pushing the orbit inferiorly. The mucocele was excised
via the coronal flap approach. At the 3-month follow-up the patient showed
marked improvement of the proptosis.
