Disthiasis treated
with focal argon laser

This 60 year-old man
suffered from recurrent disthiasis in the right central lower eyelid. Focal
argon laser was used to ablate the hair follicles. The laser was set at 100µm,
200mW and 0.5seconds. The laser was aimed at the root of the hair and burnt
to a depth of more than 1mm in order to reach the hair follicles.
